Happy

As another week comes to a close and we all eagerly look towards the weekend, I’ve gathered some things that have inspired and intrigued my curious soul. I hope you can find some inspo as well!

This clip was definitely an inspiration to me this week.

My brain is scrambling with ideas after seeing this.

PsychologyOfColorAndEmotion.
Growing up I’d always say white and black aren’t colors because one reflects and the other absorbs all the light colors. That changed as I got older and more into being a Creative. This article makes a good point, “color itself is a degree of darkness.”

This also took me down a thought rabbit-hole and got me thinking again about the David Fincher and Tim Miller series on Netflix, Love, Death, and Robots. Specifically, the episode, Zima Blue and how all creatives search for meaning in their work. Go watch this series if you haven’t yet!!!

RetrofuturistPhotomontage.
I don’t know how I feel about this and that’s an excellent sign for a Creative. Now by no means are these actual plans to update historic sites in Iran with modern architecture. This is more of an explorative art piece, a thought-experiment so to speak. But it sparks controversy! Just look at the comment sections. How do you feel about this?

Qiddiya.
This looks amazing. Lazy river over an F1 track? Will it smell like burnt rubber? Will the noise disrupt the relaxation? Who knows!

Patagonia:BlackHoleBags.
A line of bags produced using recycled material and part of their initiative to be carbon neutral by 2025. Love seeing this!

NewYork:SelfDrivingCars.
I’m spoiled being from AZ, one of the largest testing grounds for self-driving vehicles. We’ve got cars, vans, grocery delivery, and semi-trucks all being self-driven and tested. I’m convinced self-driving will take over sooner than most think. What great news that now even New York has started testing!

PapaJohns:MiniPizzaForBees.
Without bees, there wouldn’t be pizza
