Weekly Creative Inspo – 12.20.2019

Merry

The Holiday Season is here! And Christmas is right around the corner! As another week comes to a close and we all eagerly look towards the weekend (and presents next week), I’ve gathered some things that have inspired and intrigued my curious soul. I hope you can find some inspo as well!

Most of my favorite designers and creatives I follow hoard design objects and artifacts like no other. And although I’m still young, I’ve started my own little collection as well. Letterform Archive, based in San Francisco has dedicated itself to preserving graphic design. It’s a must visit for me next time I’m there!

Cast Iron Design has done a fun project for Patagonia. Tasked with creating a printed guide for Boulder, CO, they jumped at the opportunity to push the sustainability envelope. Using ink made from algae, they’ve designed a nice-looking guide that I think the National Parks Services would swoon over.  (Also note the MOTION. EVEN FOR A PRINT PROJECT. MOTION, MOTION, MOTION!)

RedBull’s 5th annual photography contest has wrapped up. The winning photo an underwater shot of a surfer riding a wave. Congrats to all the category winners as well. These shots are so inspiring!
